Enrichment Classes

These enrichment classes are available for TCPS students:

Chairs for Charity
2nd-5th grade will learn about furniture making, history, and applied design.  Students will be preparing and painting chairs for the Chair-ries Jubilee. The Chair-ries Jubilee is an annual fundraiser presented by the Allied Arts Council of the Cleveland/Bradley Chamber of Commerce.  The money raised at this event is through silent as well as live auctions to help the Arts in Education programs as well and the arts in our community.  This annual event is held at the Museum Center at 5ive Points.  Celebrities and community artists have created and donated furniture (as well as chairs) for this event. Our Chairs for Charity enrichment class is renovating/painting/decorating a chair which will be placed in the auction.

Yearbook

Student yearbook staff take photos throughout the course of the school year and are responsible for uploading them, as well as determining layouts, themes, and other key information for the yearbook pages. No previous knowledge is required but computer and/or photography experience is strongly desired. Additionally, students will be responsible for obtaining advertisements as well as for the general editing of the pages to ensure it represents the school’s vision throughout. Students interested in working on the yearbook staff should contact the upper school principal for further information.
