Essay Contest Winner

Congratulations to Bailey Burns on winning the Gold level, 2nd place, in Lee University’s Poiema Essay Competition! Bailey wrote an essay in which she discussed God’s calling her into her chosen vocation as a nurse and explored the connection between her faith and her future studies in a science field.

Bailey has won $300 cash and either a $500 scholarship to Summer Honors or fall tuition to Lee University after high school. Essay competitions such as this improve a student’s college application, and we encourage more students to participate in competitions such as this!
