Philosophy

It is the goal of the athletic department of Tennessee Christian Preparatory School to contribute to a Christ-centered education through a competitive athletic program. Our players and coaches will always conduct themselves in a manner worthy of the Kingdom of God. Our coaches are Christians and will be expected to imitate Christ as they coach. Athletes will be coached in winning, losing and sportsmanship. They will be trained in endurance, discipline, and dedication. Our goal is to glorify God in all that we do. We will display our Christ-centered values and priorities through the way we win and lose during competition. We recognize that our student athletes will be in the public eye so we encourage all athletes to conduct themselves in a manner worthy of their coaches, teammates, school, families and more importantly their Savior. The ability to play sports is a great honor and so we ask of our athletes to conduct themselves in a manner of great honor.
